About: Jessica discovered the benefits of Pilates in 2003 and she immediately knew this was something she wanted to share with others. She received her Bachelor’s degree in biology with an emphasis in the human body from the University of San Diego, and was comprehensively trained in the Pilates method by Core Conditioning Pilates and Physical Therapy (Balanced Body Certification). Her training includes all aperatesus, mat, classical, special populations, prenatal, and postnatal Pilates.
She continues to attend workshops and continuing education seminars to stay ahead of the constantly evolving fitness industry. Since Jessica began her Pilates career in 2005, she has worked as a Physical Therapist aide and utilized Pilates as a modality under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Jessica also worked as an Athletic Trainer assistant at the University of San Diego. Throughout her Pilates career having worked for many studios teaching group and private lessons the things Jessica enjoys most about teaching Pilates, is bringing postural awareness, witnessing a confidence boost in her clients, and seeing people’s bodies being physically changed.
