Your Questions, Answered

I've never done pilates, will I like it?

You will L-O-V-E it! We use a pretty cool piece of equipment called the Project ✘ Reformer, We have 12 reformers in our group fitness room and we also host private sessions. You will use muscles you never knew you had, and will strengthen & lengthen in a way you never have before! While we have private sessions available, these are not required to hop into a group class. The cool part is that there are plenty of modifications and variations for each exercise, so there will always be something you can do, no matter what level you are at, or what injury (or sore muscle) you are nursing.

We have them available for sale if you forget! They are mandatory not only for cleanliness, but also to prevent you from slipping around on the reformer, especially if you plan to get sweaty!

We offer group classes for anyone 16 and up. Under 16 is a case by case basis and would need parental consent. That means parents on premises for the first session.

What if the pilates class is full? How does the waitlist work?

Don’t sweat it! You will most likely get all the classes of your choice! If you see a class you want that is full, simply click on it, and confirm your spot on the waitlist. Just check your email frequently you will be notified when you get in and have been confirmed for the class! This email will go out at least 12 hours in advance since that is our cancellation policy! If you change your mind or make other plans for that time slot please remove yourself from the waitlist so you don’t forfeit your session or get charged for a no show! Its also GOOD KARMA to release the space for a fellow community member if you don’t plan on coming in!

If I am running late to pilates, should I call?

Yes please call to let us know you are on your way so we don’t give up your spot to a waiting/waitlisted member. We allow a grace period of 10 minutes maximum with a phone call to hold your spot.

Can I leave class early?
Yes we don’t hold you hostage! However, please be cognizant of the other member’s space and try to grab a spot close to the exit door if you know you have to boogie early. Also let your instructor know so they don’t think you are leaving because you don’t like their playlist or sequencing!
What happens if I miss a class?

Booooo! Kidding – kinda! If you can’t help it meaning you can’t cancel at least 12 hours before class then PRETTY PLEASE cancel as soon as possible even if it’s an hour before so that other members can get a chance to take that spot, especially in Pilates due to the limited amount of spots. If you are on a package or membership which includes a set amount of sessions, you will lose your session. If you are on an unlimited Piates membership you will be charged a no show fee of $25. If you are on an unlimited yoga membership you will be charged a $15 no show fee. Do your best to cancel and please understand our teachers are compensated based on attendance so we don’t want to charge you but it is the only way we can keep everyone accountable for their reservations since we have such a limited amount of space.
