Growing up a classically trained ballet dancer for almost 18 years, my body endured a lot of injuries in hopes of becoming a professional dancer. While a career in dance was a dream I had to let go of, a lifetime in movement that heals was not. I took my first Pilates mat class with one of my ballet professors in 2013, and was immediately hooked. After a short period of time, my body felt taller, stronger and leaner. I wanted to bring the healing and hope that Pilates brought to me, to others as well. I received my certification in 2016 and have never looked back since! I express a deep gratitude for my Pilates mentors that brought me to where I am today.
